100% of all students meet or exceed state standards in Mathematics.
93% of all students meet or exceed state standards in English Language Arts (ELA).
Through the efforts of NY State Senator Tony Avella, the New York State Senate issued a Legislative Resolution “commending P.S. 130 upon the occasion of its designation as a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.” The P.S. 130 Community graciously thanks Senator Avella for his efforts on our behalf.

Staff, parents and students volunteered to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Personal hygiene products were donated, sorted and bagged. Then bags were brought to Councilman Dan Halloran’s office. His staff delivered them directly to the shelters.
